Hey guys. Since it seems EVERYONE is asking me how I made my ghost mascots, I thought I'd make a little tutorial for ya'll. For this example, I'll be using me! :D

First, take the image you want to turn into a ghost, and then make it transparent. Don't do the feet, since it will only waste your time. Also, make sure to not do tangible objects besides clothes, to give it more of a ghost feel. It should look something like this.

After you've done that, erase the feet by making them transparent, and fill in any places they may have cut into the body, but not too big or too small of an outline so it looks weird. After you've done that, it should look like this.

Then, pick the color you want to make your ghost, and make it transparent. It doesn't matter what program you use, it should have this transparency option, like circled here.

Then, fill in the transparent parts with the paint bucket, and it should look like this.

Then, draw a ghost tail. It doesn't have to look like this, you can make it however you want. Then, make the connection between the ghost and the body the same, removing the outline there. Your finished product should look like this.

And there you go! Your very own ghost avatar! You can use this for whatever you like. Have fun! Template:Wl-publish: 2012-10-27 14:27:26 +0000
